This week we wanted to send a little inspiration that everyone can absolutely relate to.

We can all agree that 2021 began a bit bumpy, but the human race is a resilient bunch. And though there will still be moments this year that will test our patience, sanity, and perseverance, the payoff of pushing through will reward us in the end.

It is a funny thing, when you feel like you are standing alone with all that’s going on. Our communities, no matter where you live, have come together in so many ways.

Here are just a few positive things to have come out of 2020:

*Renewables had a record year

*More people than ever had access to electricity

*There was success for re-wilding and species reintroductions

*Africa was declared free of wild polio

*Efforts to improve diversity ramped up

*Progress was made in tackling malaria and tuberculosis

*Progress was made with LGBTQ+ rights

*Saudi Arabia and Palestine banned child marriage

*There were a host of animal baby booms

*Wildlife gardening was embraced with fresh enthusiasm

*There was a big acceleration in national climate pledges

*The Coronavirus vaccine became the fastest vaccine to ever be developed.
