World Spay & Neuter Day
A Small Snip Can Make a Big DifferenceWhen it comes to the Photography G team, we’re not afraid to admit who’s boss: our pups. We have a trio of pups between us here, all of which make the day a little more friendly and our furniture a little hairier. Today is World Spay & Neuter Day, and it’s the one way we can help the next generation of dogs and cats stay off the streets, out of shelters, and in better health. Nearly 1 million pets are euthanized in shelters each year, according to the ASPCA. That’s heartbreaking and entirely preventable. Spaying or neutering a pet is not only the best way to help keep pets out of shelters, but also it helps to prevent some illnesses later in life. There are numerous resources out there for clinics and mobile services that offer low- or no-cost spays and neuters, like the Denver Dumb Friends League or ASPCA. We love our pups and can’t imagine our worlds without them. They’re the boss after all.
