All is Calm
All is calm, all is bright and white!
Blankets of fluffy snow make us thankful for the crisp, cold and clear mornings when the world is covered in freshly fallen powder. It gives us a cozy feeling, and we’re thankful for warm coffee or tea and the potential of a white Christmas morning.
New tracks in the fallen snow are a joy, and daytime walks — bundled in our warm coats and hats, with our fingers tucked inside our winter mittens and our toes covered in warm boots — are special memories we truly cherish.
As we approach the end of this year, those moments in the quiet stillness, canvased with newly fallen snow and cosseted in warm clothes, are the ones worth remembering. Too often, we may find ourselves overwhelmed with the bustle of a holiday season or the demands of family life — or just pining for warmer days ahead. This season can remind us that every day can be new, the arrival of the sun can fill our hearts with light and newly fallen snow can be a fresh start each and every day. The opportunity to make “fresh tracks” exists everywhere in our lives: to wander, to explore, and to learn.
Please enjoy some recent photos of our newly fallen, frozen-flake friends in the mountains near Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and City Park in Denver. We’re in love with Colorado, and it shows.
We wish you health and happiness, and the constant wonder that comes with a snowy morning during these winter wonderland days.
