Spring is Ghosting Us
Phil Saw His Shadow… Again?! |
Well, folks, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, which means six more weeks of winter. At this point, it’s starting to feel like we’re stuck in Groundhog Day—waking up to cold mornings on repeat while dreaming of sunshine. The trees are confused, the birds are side-eyeing the weather, and we’re all debating if it’s time to pack away the puffer coats (spoiler: not yet).
At least here in Denver, we get plenty of sunshine—but let’s be real, the weather still can’t make up its mind. One day, it’s 60 degrees, and we’re breaking out the T-shirts; the next, there’s snow on the ground, and we’re shoveling the driveway again. Mother Nature, are you okay?
But don’t lose hope! Longer days, warmer breezes, and the sweet smell of fresh blooms are almost here. Soon, we’ll be trading heavy socks for sandals and complaining about pollen instead of frostbite.
Until then, grab a cozy drink, enjoy the extra excuse to hibernate, and maybe watch Bill Murray relive February 2nd one more time. Spring is fashionably late, but we know it’ll be worth the wait!
🌷 Bring it on, March. We’re ready (mostly).
