Naturally Phenomenal
It’s Hard To Eclipse How Impressive Mother Nature Can Be
Our bustling spring season this year led us to San Antonio, the home of the Alamo, and right into the path of totality. The weather may have veiled our view of the total eclipse on Monday, as you can see below, but it only heightened our appreciation for Mother Nature’s breathtaking show.
In all honesty, we shouldn’t be surprised. Despite all the technology available to us, convenience at our fingertips, and everything on demand, something as simple as the alignment of the earth’s rotation and orbit of the moon gives us goosebumps whenever we’re lucky enough to see one. Isaac Newton? Still undefeated.
But humankind has known the power of an eclipse for millennia, predating the defined psychics that make it all possible. The power that natural phenomena can have ties us closer to our ancestors and makes clear that to rekindle our sense of awe and wonder—especially now, when it feels like we’ve seen it all before—all we need to do sometimes is look up to the heavens.
