For all we hear about treatments, medicines, technologies, and procedures, the future of healthcare still has a face. And, for the most part, it looks like this.
After all, treating people still takes people. And these residents at the University of Colorado Hospital are well on their way to becoming the people we need to save us in the future. We were lucky enough to photograph their celebration dinner last month, chronicling an important step in their journey to become the future of healthcare.
To say doctors are important is an understatement as much as it is common sense. But now, more than ever, the people delivering care are just as integral as the science and technology supporting their missions. We salute the future front-liners in medical care.
