Thanking Those Who Keep Us Safe

As winter takes hold and the holiday season is in full swing, many of us forget those who are behind the scenes keeping us safe on the roads and runways. We recently had the chance to photograph these snow plow beasts for Aebi-Schmidt at the airport and in Grand Junction, and to say we were in awe is an understatement. These workers are the unapplauded workers that ensure our roads and runways are clear for travel. Being called at any hour to do their duty, they gladly man the task of making way after a storm (or during) so that your plane can take off safely and on time, or that you make it work in one piece. So if you see a plow on the road this season, give them a thumbs up and wave because they are on call 24 hours a day to guarantee the roads are in the best shape possible, and they deserve a little gratitude this holiday (and winter) season.
