Capturing Connection: Behind the Scenes with SPSP in Denver

A Glimpse Into the Minds Shaping Everyday Mental Health

We recently had the chance to photograph the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) Annual Convention in Denver—and wow, what an inspiring group of people. These are the folks who study how we connect, communicate, and care for one another, and their work is all about making life better from the inside out.

Even though Mental Health Month isn’t until May, what SPSP members do matters every single day. They dig into the “why” behind human behavior—looking at things like stress, relationships, identity, and how we show up in the world. Their research helps us understand ourselves and each other a little better, which is a huge part of staying mentally and emotionally well.

It was an honor to capture the energy of this event. Here’s to the people working hard (often behind the scenes) to make our world a little more connected and kind.
