Passing the Torch
One of Denver’s Biggest Proponents May be Gone, but We Know We’re Still in Great Hands |
It takes more than blue skies, sunny days, great people, and the best businesses to attract eyeballs and attention to any area. It takes a team to effectively communicate to the rest of the world why Colorado should be in the middle of everyone’s map for work, play, and everything in between. And Colorado just lost one of its finest captains.
We recently photographed a touching memorial for Tom Hagan, one of the best quarterbacks Colorado had in bringing attention and investment into Denver. Along with Phil Karsh, Hagan co-founded Karsh Hagan, one of the metro area’s premier advertising agencies. The two steered incredibly successful campaigns for Aspen Snowmass, the Colorado Lottery, MSU Denver, and VISIT DENVER. Colorado wouldn’t be where it is today without their vision and understanding. Hagan not only championed the beauty and incredible natural resources (including its people!) we have to offer, but he also brought much-needed investment in our area to develop both.
We were sad to hear about Tom’s passing, but we know Karsh Hagan is in good hands with Tom’s daughter, Kathy Hagan, who is now co-CEO of her father’s company. Singing the praises of our business community – we’re sure Kathy will continue to promote our abundance and beauty for years to come.
