The Reason I Became a Better Photographer

This month, we celebrate National Photo Month and all the memories we’ve created with you. Last week, we discussed the power of portraits with Garrett and this week, Kellie shared with us one of hers. In fact, the photo pictured above affirmed Kellie’s career choice.

In her own words: “This was my first wedding as a professional photographer, and it just happened to be my brother’s wedding. (No pressure, right!?) I happened to catch a moment between his soon-to-be wife with her daughter, now my brother’s stepdaughter, and my niece. This photo was a look inside not just the special day for my sister-in-law, but the bond that mother and daughter can forge that transcends words. In short, it’s the reason I pursued a career in photography.”
