Happy Easter, Happy Hope
This Weekend Reminds Us Hope and Renewal Always Shine Brightest After the Dark
Easter is an annual reminder that renewal and hope are never gone, no matter how far away they may seem. The sunrise on Sunday is a literal and figurative new dawn for us and a daily notice that dark is always followed by light.
That was never truer than last year, where, after 75 years, the famous Easter Service was held at Red Rocks Amphitheater after a two-year hiatus. Thousands packed the rafters to participate in the non-denominational service, celebrating the sunrise and the spectacular view. Easter has religious meanings and traditions, but we know that celebrating renewal and hope is universal.
Darkness falls on all of us, but dawn always follows closely behind. Whether it’s just a bad day or an overwhelming feeling that “when it rains, it pours,” the sun always comes up. We wish all of you a Happy Easter or Happy Passover this weekend if you observe either, or we wish you a beautiful sunrise in your life that renews your hope and faith in the world around us all.
