The Society of Economic Geologists Have Big Jobs, But They Know How to Roll

Pardon us for saying so, but the Society of Economic Geologists are a bunch of real gems. This year, the association graciously asked us to chronicle their annual conference at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Denver and we jumped at the opportunity. Not only do we love meeting new people, we also love getting our hands dirty with their chosen work!

You may ask: What exactly are economic geologists? Fair question! We did too. These are the people who are responsible for maintaining a heathy ecosystem of keeping our economies going while protecting our precious natural resources. Not an easy job!

But as we learned in our four-day foray into economic geology, their work is incredibly important, and also: these folks rock!
