Why Denver?
For those of us who live here, we get it. Denver (and all of Colorado) is not only beautiful, but it has some of the most diverse landscapes, and offers an incredible range of activities. From snowshoeing, skiing/snowboarding in the winter, to biking, camping, and visiting the sand dunes in the summer, Denver, and all of Colorado, offers a vast range of reasons to visit.
Which is why this week we are focusing our ‘Good News’ newsletter on why you should consider the great city of Denver for your next event, meeting, conference, or wedding.
We have had the privilege of living in this great city for a combined 15+ years, and happily call it home. We have seen this city grow exponentially over the years, with new restaurants, new venues and new events giving those who live here a reason to stay, and those who don’t a reason to visit.
From photographing events at some of the most beautiful venues in Denver, to meeting up and coming chefs, we are so honored to call Denver our home.
We took this week to show you some of the reasons that Denver is the perfect place for any upcoming conference, wedding, meeting or special event, and we hope you agree. Looking at all Denver has to offer, it’s no wonder Denver is the 5th fastest growing city in America (pulled from milehighcre.com).
According to TheTravelTeam.com (https://www.thetravelteam.com/the-best-cities-for-conferences-in-the-u-s/) – Denver is in the top 7 cities to hold a conference, along with the likes of San Diego, CA and Atlanta, GA. The site references Denver’s central location and large airport hub as a key factor, along with Denver’s fantastic transportation system and downtown area being walkable with restaurants and shopping close by to hotels. And we can’t forget the vast space that is the Convention Center, with the famous Big Blue Bear.
Being a partner with Visit Denver has been such a great partnership, and they are truly one of the biggest advocates to bringing business to Denver. See their fantastic ad “You Deserve Some Denver” here.
Denver not only hosts some of the biggest names in music at Red Rocks Amphitheater, but brings in more than 60,000 visitors from around the world during the annual GABF (Great American Beer Festival).
If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit Denver, we cannot express enough all that you are missing. Having your conference, meeting, special event or wedding here will not only offer your guests and attendees a breath of fresh air and sunshine (we’re up there with San Diego and Miami with sunniest cities), but the activities are endless.
So the next time you wonder, “Where should we have our vacation/conference/special event, or wedding?”, look no further than Denver – The Mile High City.
